Health, Safety & Security

What are your COVID-19 requirements to enter the event?

We ask our guests to be informed and take precautions. If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home. Current information about COVID-19 can be found at the CDC website.

With the outbreak of monkeypox, we ask our guests to be informed and take precautions. The CDC recommends vaccination for those who have been diagnosed or exposed to monkeypox. Current information about monkeypox can be found here.

What public safety measures are you taking to ensure my safety?

The safety of our guests is our utmost priority. We want everyone to feel safe and welcome during our Riot Party. There will be security located outside and inside the event to ensure the safest possible experience.

Will I be able to find security, if needed?

Yes, there will be security throughout our event. If you need assistance, don’t hesitate to ask them for help. If you notice something doesn’t seem quite right, notify a staff member or public safety official immediately.

Where are the emergency exits located within the venue?

There is only one exit, which is the front entrance. The venue is outdoors.

Where can I park?

There are several parking garages nearby, including the 948 Mission Street Garage and the 5th & Mission Garage. Muni bus stops nearby, including the 14, 14x, and 27. Powell Street BART station is also one city block away!

Prohibited Items:

Attendees and their belongings are subject to search upon entry. The following items are prohibited and will be confiscated:

  • Aerosol containers, professional audio recording equipment, professional cameras, tripods, illegal and illicit substances of any kind, glass containers of any kind, weapons or explosives of any kind.

Food & Drinks

Does my entry ticket include drinks?

 

No. Entry is free to this year's Riot Party. We will have food vendors offering a variety of delicious snacks and meals. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar inside.

 

I changed my mind. Can I get a refund? 

 

No refunds will be given for any unused tickets. Feel free to pass down your ticket to a friend so they can come and enjoy the event! 

 

Can I bring my own drinks?

 

Outside alcohol is prohibited. Guests over 21 are able to purchase alcoholic drinks from our full-bar service. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase.

We deeply care about our guests and want to provide everyone with a safe and enjoyable experience. If any guests show visible signs of intoxication that can pose a danger to others, they will be asked to leave.

Will there be water stations?

 

Yes! We will have water stations at the cash bar. Feel free to bring a reusable water bottle. 

General Information

Accessibility

Priority is given to seniors/elders and folks with accessibility needs. There will be a designated area located just to the right of the main stage. Look for the accessibility signs when entering the venue and show your wristband to a staff member.

Where are the bathrooms located?

Bathrooms are located on the left side of the entrance. 

 

What time does it start?

Doors open at 12PM, noon. The party will end at 5PM.

 

Is there a Lost & Found?

We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items inside our event. Please make sure you keep an eye out on your belongings at all times. If you lose anything, please notify us immediately and we will announce it during the event. The Kapwa Gardens will collect any valuables found after the event. Please contact the Kapwa Gardens, so you can come pick up your items. We want everyone to have an enjoyable experience!

 

Can I buy merchandise?

Yes! We will have hoodies available for purchase.
